Projects

Managing project visibility, lifecycle, and ownership.

Visibility

Found in Settings → Public project. Controls who can see the project.

Public project

Build in public. Anyone with the link can view your progress.

Private projects require a Pro plan. On a Free plan the toggle is disabled and you'll be prompted to upgrade.

Marking a project as complete

Found in Settings → Project status. Signals that all work is done.

Mark as complete

Flag this project as shipped. You can still edit it afterwards.

Once completed, the project shows the completed badge.

Completion is a status indicator only — the project remains fully accessible and editable. The completion date is shown on the public project page.

Archiving a project

Found in Settings → Danger zone. A softer alternative to deletion.

Archive project

The project becomes read-only and is removed from your active project count. You can reactivate it later from this page.

When a project is archived:

  • Tasks and groups are visible but cannot be edited or added to.
  • The project does not count toward your active project limit.
  • You can reactivate it from the same Settings page at any time.
  • On a Free plan, reactivating requires the project to be public and have 5 or fewer groups.

Deleting a project

Found in Settings → Danger zone. Permanent and irreversible.

Delete project

Permanently delete this project and all of its tasks. This cannot be undone.

Only the project owner can delete a project. If you might want to revisit the project later, consider archiving instead.
